Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved the establishment of an AI-based job portal and a digital complaint resolution system to connect persons with disabilities with employment opportunities and institutional support across the province.
The chief minister approved collaboration with the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration to develop a dedicated job portal for persons with disabilities. The system will offer AI-based job matching and will be available in Sindhi, Urdu, and English.
He said the initiative aims to enable persons with disabilities to actively participate in employment and social development processes. The portal will link the Sindh government directly with persons with disabilities and support merit-based recruitment across provincial departments.
The government will also introduce a digital complaint registration and resolution system to address issues faced by persons with disabilities and ensure timely action. The complete job portal is scheduled to become operational by May 2026, while the complaint resolution module is expected to launch by July 2026.
The chief minister said the initiative aligns with the Sindh Employment of Persons with Disabilities Act 2018, which mandates a 5 percent employment quota in government departments and requires the establishment of support systems, a central database, and disability certification mechanisms.
