Punjab Orders Nomination of Master Trainers for Matric Tech Subjects

The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training, and Assessment Authority (PECTA) has issued directives for the nomination of Master Trainers for Matric Tech subjects.

According to the official communication sent to districts, authorities have been instructed to nominate eight master trainers for each module.

Subjects Included

Master trainers are required for six core subjects, including:

• Computer Science
• Agricultural Science
• Health Sciences
• Fashion Designing
• Communication Skills
• Personal Grooming

These subjects are part of the Matric Tech Program.

Responsibilities of Master Trainers

As per the notification, the nominated master trainers will be responsible for:

• Conducting training sessions
• Providing academic and technical support
• Ensuring implementation of the prescribed curriculum

Data Submission Requirements

Districts have been directed to submit verified data of:

• Matric Tech schools
• Relevant teachers
• Teachers’ academic and professional qualifications
• WhatsApp contact details
• Complete information, including contact numbers of school heads

The deadline for submitting nominations and required data has been set for February 28, 2026.
