The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a new service called the “PTA Digital Assistant” to improve facilitation for telecom consumers. The digital assistant provides general guidance on telecom services and complaint procedures.
PTA stated that the system has been designed to enhance consumer facilitation by improving access to regulatory guidance and reducing response times for commonly asked telecom-related questions. The service offers menu-driven options that allow users to quickly access relevant information. It responds to selected commands, enabling efficient interaction and reducing the need for manual handling of consumer queries.
According to PTA, the initiative is part of its broader efforts to strengthen digital access to regulatory information and streamline customer interaction processes. The authority said the launch reflects its commitment to adopting innovative technological solutions for public service delivery.
The PTA Digital Assistant is available through WhatsApp on the dedicated number 0315-0055055 and can also be accessed online through this link. PTA has also enabled access through QR codes to further simplify connectivity and improve user convenience across digital platforms.
