The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 110th consecutive day on Monday despite war threats in the region following the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei last week.
Meanwhile, it also posted gains against most of the other major currencies during today’s session.
The PKR closed at 279.46 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
PKR closed in green against the UAE Dirham (AED) and also the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it gained Rs. 3 against the British Pound (GBP) and Rs. 2.47 against the Euro (EUR).

It gained Rs. 1.67 against the Australian Dollar (AUD) but lost 20 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
