The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed additional Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in parts of the Middle East amid ongoing regional uncertainty.
The Board announced that exams scheduled for March 5 and March 6, 2026, for both classes will not be conducted as planned. The decision was communicated through Circular-2, further extending its earlier announcement made on March 1.
The postponement applies to CBSE-affiliated schools in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

CBSE clarified that revised dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later. The Board will reassess the situation on March 5 and decide on exams scheduled from March 7 onwards.

The development affects thousands of students following the Indian curriculum in the Gulf region as they prepare for their crucial board examinations.
