The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has categorically rejected what it described as false and misleading claims published by Bloomberg regarding the United Arab Emirates’ advanced defensive capabilities.
In an official statement, the ministry said the assertions were unfounded and misrepresented the UAE’s high level of preparedness, technological sophistication, and operational readiness.
The ministry emphasized that the UAE maintains diverse, integrated, and multi-layered air defense systems capable of countering a full spectrum of aerial threats with high efficiency.
These long-, medium-, and short-range systems provide comprehensive protection of the country’s airspace.
Officials added that the UAE also holds a robust strategic stockpile of munitions to ensure sustained interception and response capabilities over extended periods, while preserving full operational readiness to safeguard national security and sovereignty.
The ministry reaffirmed that the UAE’s advanced defense infrastructure, institutional readiness, and integrated national security framework remain steadfast and uncompromised, stressing that the safety and security of citizens, residents, and visitors remain an absolute priority.
