US Orders Citizens to Depart Now These 14 Middle Eastern Countries

The US State Department has issued a “depart now” security alert for American citizens across 14 countries and territories in the Middle East, citing serious safety risks and the possibility of sudden attacks.

The advisory urges US nationals in Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel (including the West Bank and Gaza), Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen to leave immediately using commercial travel options.

US authorities warned that the security environment in the region is rapidly evolving, and that the threat of missile or drone strikes could emerge with little or no warning. Americans were also advised to stay away from military installations and other sensitive locations.

Separately, Canadian officials have also issued guidance for their citizens in the region, telling those in Dubai to leave without waiting for special flights. The advisory reportedly recommends using available routes to travel onward via Saudi Arabia or Oman.

With global tensions rising, multiple governments are issuing updated security instructions to their citizens, urging them to move to safer locations as conditions on the ground remain unpredictable.
