Oppo has confirmed that it will introduce support for the updated Quick Share feature to its Find X9 lineup. The feature enables seamless file transfers with Apple’s AirDrop ecosystem.
The company said the Oppo Find X9 and Oppo Find X9 Pro will receive a software update later this month to enable Quick Share interconnection with Apple devices. The upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra will also support the feature.
After the update rolls out, users will be able to transfer files between Oppo smartphones and iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices using Quick Share, without installing third-party applications. Oppo said the feature enables secure and convenient transfers, improving cross-platform interoperability.
The company added that the capability was developed in partnership with Google and MediaTek.
Previously, Oppo users relied on the O+Connect app to transfer files to iPhones. That method required a third-party app to be installed on the iPhone. With Quick Share integration, transfers between Oppo and Apple devices will work directly.
Google first introduced AirDrop-compatible Quick Share support for the Pixel 10 series before expanding it to additional devices. The company has confirmed that more Android manufacturers will adopt the feature, with Oppo among the first to announce support.
