Realme has expanded its C-series lineup in India with the launch of the Realme C83 5G, a budget smartphone featuring a large 7,000mAh battery and a high refresh rate display.
The Realme C83 5G features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports up to 900 nits of peak brightness and offers a maximum touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
The device measures 8.4mm in thickness and weighs 212 grams. It carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards. Additional hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker. The Realme C83 5G is available in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green.
The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB.
The phone ships with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, and GPS.
On the rear, the Realme C83 5G houses a single 13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, it features a 5MP front-facing camera.
The device is powered by a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. Pricing starts at $145 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The 4GB/128GB model is priced at $160, while the 6GB/128GB version costs $190.
