A Pakistani national was killed in Dubai after debris from an aerial interception struck a vehicle in the Al Barsha area late Saturday night, according to the Dubai Media Office.
The victim, a driver, died when fragments fell onto the vehicle during an interception operation. The statement did not specify which projectile had been intercepted or where it had been launched from.
The incident marks the second death of a Pakistani national in the United Arab Emirates since the escalation of the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.
