Vivo Y37+ is the latest entry to vivo’s popular Y series of budget phones that brings a number of new additions to the table. The smartphone brings a large battery, 5G connectivity, and mid-range hardware at a price below $250.
The Vivo Y37+ features a 6.74-inch flat LCD panel with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It delivers up to 1,000 nits of brightness and includes eye protection features. The screen covers 70% of the NTSC color gamut and offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio.
The device also includes SGS-certified drop resistance. It comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is available in Obsidian Black, Glaze Blue, and Sunrise Gold.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor consists of two 2.4GHz performance cores and six 2.0GHz efficiency cores, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU.
It ships with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Vivo also supports up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM through its Memory Fusion feature.
The device runs OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, offering updated features, enhanced security, and intelligent anti-fraud protection.
On the rear, the Vivo Y37+ features a single 13MP camera with autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture. It supports Night, Portrait, Panorama, and Pro modes. The camera allows up to 10x digital zoom and supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution.
For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 5MP fixed-focus front camera, also capable of recording 1080p videos.
The Vivo Y37+ is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery designed to maintain performance for up to five years. It supports 44W fast charging and reverse charging via OTG.
