Under the legislation, prior written consent from parents or legal guardians will be mandatory before students receive any instruction related to reproductive health education.

The curriculum will cover the physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects of reproductive health to help students understand their well-being, develop respectful relationships, and make informed decisions.

After approval by both houses of parliament, the bill will now be sent to the President of Pakistan for final assent before becoming law.
