Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Meeting Date Announced for Shawwal Moon Sighting

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on the evening of Thursday, March 19, 2026, corresponding to 29 Ramzan 1447 AH, for sighting the moon of Shawwal.

According to an official communication, the meeting will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, first floor, Kohsar Block, Pak Secretariat, Constitution Avenue, Islamabad.

The letter states that meetings of zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will also be held at their respective headquarters on the same date.

Any information regarding the sighting of the moon may be conveyed to the committee through the listed contact numbers for a final announcement by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

The communication states that the final decision on moon sighting or otherwise will be announced later by the chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on the basis of information received.
