Private schools have demanded the abolition of Saturday holidays in the upcoming academic year, according to a report.
Head of Pak Aiwan-e-Taleem for Private Schools Qazi Naeem Anjum proposed that summer holidays should be limited to two months, while winter vacations should be reduced to only 10 days in January. He said the academic year should consist of at least 180 days.
Anjum stated that due to unannounced holidays during the previous academic year, academic activities could be conducted for only 127 days. He added that the reduced number of teaching days made it difficult for schools to complete the syllabus.
He also suggested that schools should be allowed to organize summer camps during the summer holidays to help complete the syllabus.
Officials of the School Education Department assured representatives of private schools that their demands would be considered after hearing their proposals.
Are these guys morons?
They have already put so much burden on the little minds of kids that their outdoor activities are already limited or none due to the advance and hectic schedules and work loads, now they want to make these useless suggestions of ending weekends and making it a a school days, that idea is ridiculous in it self alone. What are the trying to make out of the kids normal human beings or just dumb headed bots? Just thinking about this idea of abolishing weekends is a crime it self that too for kids? Just shameful!!

And the reason for these vacation isn’t for just for children but for parents too.
Half of the time they expect the kids to learn and practice themselves rather then in school.
If u want to improve teach properly and do explain n practice in school.
And focus on children who are weak more.
Change the school time from 1-2 to 3pm and it should be focus studies and improving understanding.
And ABOLISH Tuition system concept. This is raise when school don’t teach priperly
