The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 119th consecutive day on Friday.
Meanwhile, it posted gains against all of the other major currencies during today’s session. It particularly trashed the British Pound and Australian Dollar as foreign markets turned volatile against big economies on war fears, a day trader told ProPakistani.
The PKR closed at 279.31 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
PKR gained two paisas against the UAE Dirham (AED) and managed to close in green against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it gained Rs. 3.78 against the British Pound (GBP) and Rs. 2.22 against the Euro (EUR).

It gained Rs. 3.03 against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and Rs. 1.15 against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
