Gold Rate Suddenly Stops Rising in Pakistan After Yesterday’s Warning

Gold prices in Pakistan were stable on Wednesday, in line with the sudden halt in the international market.

Prior to today’s session, many traders warned that gold could start spiking to higher levels if movement in the Middle East markets didn’t stabilize.

The price of gold per tola remained at Rs. 523,762, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 449,041. On Tuesday, the price per tola had reached Rs. 523,762 after a gain of Rs. 1,000 during the day.

The international rate of gold also remained stableat $5,010 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Silver rates decreased by Rs. 75 to Rs. 8,494 per tola.
