Govt Renames Establishment Department of Pakistan

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially renamed the Establishment Department as the Human Resource Management Department.

According to an official notification, amendments have been made to the Government Rules of Business 1985 to implement the change.

Under the new decision, the Secretary of Establishment will now be designated as Secretary of Human Resource Management, and the updated terminology will be applied across all official government records.

Officials said the move aims to modernize administrative terminology and align the department’s role with contemporary human resource management practices.
