Lenovo Introduces New Gaming Grade Tablets With Flagship Chips And Dedicated Cooling

Lenovo has introduced three new Android tablets, including the Legion Y700 (Gen 5), Xiaoxin Pro 13, and Xiaoxin Pro GT 13. The new lineup brings updated hardware, high-refresh displays, and large battery capacities across different form factors.

Design and Display

The Legion Y700 (Gen 5) features an 8.8-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 3,040 x 1,904 and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is available in white and black color options.

The Xiaoxin Pro 13 and Pro GT 13 share a similar design, and both feature 13-inch IPS LCD panels with a resolution of 3,504 x 2,190 and a 144Hz refresh rate. Both tablets include quad-speaker setups with JBL tuning and Dolby Atmos support, along with compatibility for Lenovo’s Pen Pro 2 stylus.

Internals and Software

The Legion Y700 (Gen 5) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and includes Lenovo’s Coldfront vapor chamber cooling system. It is available with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage, with additional expansion via a microSD card slot.

The Xiaoxin Pro GT 13 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, while the Xiaoxin Pro 13 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from 2024. Both models support up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. All three devices support Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Cameras

The Xiaoxin Pro 13 and Pro GT 13 include 13MP rear cameras and 8MP front-facing cameras. Camera specifications for the Legion Y700 (Gen 5) were not detailed.

Battery and Pricing

The Legion Y700 (Gen 5) features a 9,000 mAh dual-cell battery with 68W wired charging. It also includes dual USB-C ports, allowing users to charge the device while using wired audio or external displays.

Pricing for the Y700 (Gen 5) starts at $625 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, while the 24GB RAM and 1TB version is priced at $931.

The Xiaoxin Pro GT 13 includes a 12,000 mAh battery with 68W charging, while the Xiaoxin Pro 13 has a 10,200 mAh battery with 45W charging.

Xiaoxin Pro 13 starts at $334 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The Xiaoxin Pro GT 13 is priced from $436.
