Kia Makes Public Announcement for Buyers After Massive Increase in Hi-Octane Price

Kia Motors Pakistan has clarified that its vehicles in Pakistan do not require hi-octane fuel and can operate efficiently on commonly available petrol amid rising fuel costs.

In a statement, Kia said its models are designed and tested to run on unleaded fuel with a minimum octane rating of RON 91 or higher, as specified in the owner’s manual.

The company said customers can continue using RON 92 fuel, commonly sold as Super or Premier, without any concerns about performance or reliability.

It added that the use or mixing of hi-octane fuel is not mandatory for Kia vehicles in Pakistan.

Kia advised customers to refuel only from reputable and trusted fuel stations to ensure the fuel is not contaminated or adulterated. It said its authorized dealer network remains available to assist customers with any queries or guidance.
