OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 15T in China following an extended teaser campaign. The device succeeds last year’s OnePlus 13T and brings upgrades in performance, battery capacity, and durability.
Design and Display
The OnePlus 15T features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,216 x 2,640 pixels. It now supports a faster 165Hz refresh rate while reaching up to 3,600 nits peak local brightness.
The panel includes 1800 nits high brightness mode, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and Oppo Crystal Shield glass protection. It integrates a 16MP front camera and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
The device has a metal frame, measures 8.35mm in thickness, and weighs 194 grams. It also includes dual stereo speakers and maintains a compact form factor.
Durability has been improved with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, allowing resistance against dust, immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, and high-pressure hot and cold water jets. The device is available in white, brown, and green color options.
Internals and Software
The OnePlus 15T is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with the Adreno 840 GPU. It is configured with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
The device runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, with Oppo AI features integrated into the system.
Cameras
The OnePlus 15T uses a dual-camera system with two 50MP sensors. The main camera features a Sony IMX906 sensor with a 24mm equivalent focal length and optical image stabilization.
It is paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and up to 7x lossless zoom.
The device supports video recording at up to 8K resolution at 60fps and 4K at 120fps, with Dolby Vision certification.
Battery and Pricing
The OnePlus 15T is equipped with a 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at $625, while the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version costs $828.
OnePlus has not confirmed global availability, though the device may launch in other markets under a different name, similar to the OnePlus 13T rebranding.
