Gold in Pakistan continued to appreciate massively on Wednesday after yesterday’s big recovery in global markets.
The price of one tola increased by Rs. 15,200 to Rs. 479,262, while 10 grams rose by Rs. 13,031 to Rs. 410,889, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold jumped to Rs. 464,062 per tola after gaining Rs. 16,300 during the session.
The international market, meanwhile, saw gold prices increase by $152, bringing the rate to $4,565 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.
Silver also rose after gaining Rs. 370 to settle at Rs. 7,824 per tola.
