The Met office has predicted that a westerly wave is likely to approach southwestern parts of Balochistan on 1st April and likely to persist till 4th April. Under the influence of this weather system:
Balochistan: Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls/hailstorm) is expected in Panjgur, Turbat, Kech, Awaran, Makran Coast (Gawadar, Pasni, Ormara) Lasbella, Khuzdar, Kharan, Chaghi, Dalbandin, Kalat, Sibbi, Kohlu, Barkhan, Naseerabad, Quetta, Loralai, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Noushki, Harnai, Zhob, Kalat, Mastung from 1st (evening) to 4th April with occasional gaps.
Kyber Pakhtunkhwa: Rain-wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over mountains) is expected in (Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Malakand, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Balakot, Haripur, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Kurram, Swabi, Charsadda, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan) from 1st (night) to 4th April. Heavy falls/Hailstorm is also likely at isolated places during the period.
Punjab/Islamabad: Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with isolated hailstorm) is expected in Murree, Galiyat,
Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Khushab, Jhang, Noorpurthal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Pakpattan, Okara, Kasur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan from 1st (night) to 4th April with occasional gaps. Heavy falls is also likely in Dera Ghazi Khan and surroundings during the period.
Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir: Rain-wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over the mountains) is expected in (Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Guanche, Shigar), Kashmir (Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Mirpur) from 1st (night) to 4th April with occasional gaps. Hailstorm/ heavyfall is likely at isolated places in Kashmir during the period.
Sindh: Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with isolated hailstorm) is expected in Karachi, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Dadu, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Tharparkar from 2nd to 4th April with occasional gaps.
