Punjab Reveals Best and Worst Performing Deputy Commissioners

The Punjab government has issued a province-wide performance ranking of deputy commissioners, placing Muzaffargarh at the top with 97.92 points.

Authorities evaluated districts based on governance, service delivery and administrative performance. Okara ranked second with 96.08 points, followed by Lodhran at 96.04, Rahim Yar Khan at 95.84 and Bahawalnagar at 94.91.

Narowal, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Chiniot and Khanewal also secured positions among the top-performing districts in the ranking. Deputy commissioners from Rawalpindi division failed to secure a place in both the top five and top ten.

Rawalpindi ranked last in the province with 73.08 points, recording the lowest performance score. Within the division, Attock placed 23rd, Chakwal 26th, Jhelum 31st, Talagang 36th and Murree 39th. Lahore ranked 32nd overall in the provincial list.

The remaining districts in the ranking include Hafizabad, Rajanpur, Vehari, Kot Addu, Mandi Bahauddin, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Sheikhupura and Sargodha.

The list further includes Layyah, Kasur, Khushab, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Nankana Sahib, Taunsa, Mianwali, Jhelum, Pakpattan, Multan, Sialkot, Talagang, Wazirabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Murree and Gujrat, with Rawalpindi placed at the bottom.
