Pakistan Railways has suspended train operations from Quetta to other parts of the country due to ongoing repair work on the railway track.
Under the suspension, the Jaffar Express scheduled to depart from Quetta to Peshawar did not operate on the day, as services remain halted on the affected route.
Pakistan Railways said the suspension is temporary and has been implemented to carry out essential maintenance work on the track to ensure safe operations.
The department said the Jaffar Express arriving from Peshawar will not travel onward to Quetta and will instead terminate at Jacobabad.
Pakistan Railways had already suspended Bolan Mail and passenger train services to Chaman prior to this development, leaving multiple routes from Quetta affected.
