Honor Expands Tablet Lineup With Three New Affordable Models, Including an iPad Competitor

Honor has introduced three new mid-range tablets in China, including the Honor Pad 10 Pro, along with the Honor Pad X10 and Honor Pad X10 Pro. The Pad 10 Pro serves as a higher-end alternative to the earlier Pad 10, while the X10 series targets more affordable segments.

Honor Pad 10 Pro

The Honor Pad 10 Pro is the iPad competitor and features a metal unibody design that measures 6.1mm in thickness and weighs 475 grams. This makes it thinner and lighter than the Pad 10 at 6.3mm and 525g, and the Pad 9 Pro from 2024 at 6.6mm and 589g.

Despite the slimmer build, the tablet retains a 10,100mAh battery, matching the Pad 10 and slightly exceeding the Pad 9 Pro’s 10,050mAh capacity. It supports 35W wired charging.

The device uses an 11.5-inch LCD with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels, offering 500 nits of brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate. This is smaller than the 12.1-inch displays on the Pad 10 and Pad 9 Pro.

It runs on the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, which delivers up to 20% higher CPU performance and 60% higher GPU performance compared to the previous generation Dimensity chip, likely referring to the Dimensity 8100 used in the Pad 9 Pro.

The display supports 10-bit colors with DCI-P3 coverage and includes IMAX Enhanced, HDR Vivid, and Zreal certifications. An optional anti-glare coating reduces up to 98% of ambient light reflections.

The tablet includes four speakers with DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced support, along with Hi-Res Audio certification.

It supports the Honor Magic-Pencil 4s stylus, which offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and interchangeable nib options.

The Pad 10 Pro includes several AI features such as AI Magic Lasso for handwriting cleanup and conversion to digital text, math formula recognition, audio recording with multi-speaker transcription, and note summarization.

The device runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. It supports multi-window multitasking, includes WPS Office pre-installed, and offers an optional keyboard cover with a trackpad. Additional features include Honor AI Notes and Classroom Notes.

The tablet is available in China at $395 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The anti-glare coating adds around $30. There is no confirmation on global availability, though the standard Pad 10 is already available in Europe.

Honor Pad X10 Pro

The Honor Pad X10 Pro features an 11.5-inch LCD with a resolution of 2,508 x 1,508 pixels (255ppi), a 120Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness. It measures 6.77mm thick and weighs 475g, making it slimmer and lighter than the standard X10.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 685 and includes an 8,300mAh battery. The tablet runs MagicOS 9 based on Android 15.

The display supports 100% sRGB color coverage, and an anti-glare coating option is available on the 8GB/256GB variant.

Honor Pad X10

The Honor Pad X10 features an 11-inch LCD with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels (207ppi), a 90Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio, compared to the 15:9 ratio on the Pro model.

The tablet measures 7.25mm in thickness and weighs 499g, making it thicker and heavier than the Pro variant. However, it includes a larger 10,100mAh battery.

It runs on the Snapdragon 680 and ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Shared Features and Pricing

Both X10 models include quad speakers and durable designs. They also come with kid-focused software and tools designed for homework and educational use.

The Honor Pad X10 Pro starts at $235 after a discount of around $15. The Honor Pad X10 starts at $190 after a $43 discount. Both are currently available in China.
