Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a major relief package for motorcyclists in the province, offering subsidized petrol and waiving registration and transfer charges for motorcycles.
Under the new package, motorbike owners in Punjab will be able to get 20 liters of petrol per month at Rs. 100 per liter.
The application process for the scheme will begin on April 4. Eligible citizens will be able to apply through multiple channels introduced by the provincial government.
Applicants can register for the subsidy by calling 1000, using the Maryam Ko Batayen mobile app, or visiting the official web portal.
The government has also announced that there will be no registration fee or transfer charges on any motorbike in Punjab.
