The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has launched the Ehsaas Fuel Support Program to provide financial relief to small transport owners amid rising fuel prices and an ongoing energy crisis.
According to a statement issued by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information, Shafi Jan, the initiative has been introduced on the directions of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
Under the scheme, motorcycle, scooter, and rickshaw owners will receive Rs. 2,000 as financial assistance to help offset the impact of increased petrol prices.
The government said a registration system has been introduced through the Dastak App, enabling eligible individuals to apply through a simple and transparent process. The adviser said the program is aimed at supporting low-income groups and easing the financial burden on daily commuters.
