Iran has formally submitted a “10-point response” to the United States’ proposal aimed at ending the ongoing war in the region.
The Iranian plan outlines an end to hostilities across affected areas and proposes a protocol to ensure safe passage through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
A senior US official described Tehran’s response as “maximalist,” adding that it remains unclear whether the proposals will pave the way for meaningful diplomatic progress.
