The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched an updated version of the Pak ID mobile application, introducing new features to simplify visa applications and biometric verification.
NADRA said the latest update allows foreign nationals from 193 countries to apply for all visa categories through a more streamlined process.
Under the new features, users can capture or upload a passport image within the app, which automatically extracts key details such as name, passport number, and expiry date.
The update also includes an enhanced biometric verification system, enabling facial recognition-based verification across all categories.
NADRA has advised users to update or download the latest version of the app to access faster and more efficient services.
