The District Education Authority (DEA) Lahore has decided to promote carpooling in private schools.
In this regard, the District Education Authority has issued a circular to all private educational institutions, directing them to adopt a shared travel system in view of the ongoing fuel crisis.
According to the letter, schools have been instructed to ensure carpooling with the cooperation of parents so that students can travel together.
This initiative is expected to help save fuel, reduce traffic congestion, and promote environmental protection.
The District Education Authority has also directed schools to develop a safe and efficient transport system, while the DEA Lahore has instructed all institutions to ensure strict implementation of these directives.
Experts say the step will not only help address the fuel crisis but will also make students’ travel safer and more organized.
