NADRA Offices to Remain Closed in Islamabad

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that all its offices in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) will remain closed on April 9 and 10, 2026, in line with the local holiday notification issued by the Islamabad administration.

In its public notice, the authority said the closure will apply to all NADRA offices in Islamabad on Thursday and Friday.

The NADRA also clarified that its mega centers operating round the clock will remain shut from 8AM on Thursday until 8AM on Saturday.

However, the authority said its offices in Rawalpindi will continue to operate as usual, offering some relief to citizens in the twin cities who may need in-person services during the closure period.

For Islamabad residents affected by the shutdown, NADRA said several services will still remain available through the Pak ID mobile app.

The development is the latest in a string of service disruptions and closures announced in the federal capital over the past two days.

Islamabad has already seen local holidays, the closure of schools and colleges, restrictions on heavy vehicles, and the temporary shutdown of several public hiking trails as administrative and security arrangements intensify in the city.
