Samsung has announced the expansion of its One UI 8.5 beta program to additional Galaxy devices, broadening access to its upcoming software update.
The beta is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup, including the Galaxy S23 FE, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, and Samsung Galaxy A36.
Availability Across Select Markets
The beta program is rolling out in select regions, including India, Korea, the UK, and the US. Users in these markets can enroll through the Samsung Members app, where a banner will appear once the beta becomes available.
Samsung noted that the rollout is phased, meaning availability may vary and could take time to reach all eligible users.
New Features and Device Support
The One UI 8.5 beta introduces support for AirDrop-like file sharing through Quick Share on newer Galaxy devices. This feature is currently supported on the Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S24 family, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6.
Further Expansion Planned
Samsung stated that the One UI 8.5 beta program will continue to expand to additional Galaxy devices later this month.
