The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have launched comprehensive city branding and beautification efforts across the capital in connection with ongoing international talks, as foreign delegates and international media have already arrived in the federal capital.
Key measures include the installation of thematic pole flags, beautification of major roads and public spaces, improved sanitation, and the creation of dedicated media backdrops.
National flags have been prominently displayed, particularly along Constitution Avenue and on routes used by foreign delegations, to project a dignified and welcoming atmosphere.
Furthermore, on this important occasion, traditional panaflex banners have been significantly reduced, with a shift toward digital advertising across the city. Effective measures have been taken to activate and regulate content on digital screens.
These displays are showcasing “Islamabad Talks” branding and welcome messages for distinguished foreign guests, enhancing the city’s visual appeal and projecting a modern, digital, and progressive image of Islamabad. These initiatives have also received recognition from international media, with several global outlets highlighting Islamabad’s digital branding in their coverage, presenting a vibrant and contemporary image of the capital to the world.
In addition to venue branding at the Jinnah Convention Centre and Nur Khan Airbase, outdoor branding has also been implemented at key locations. Overhead bridges at Faizabad and Serena Chowk, billboards at major intersections around Serena, streamers from Nur Khan Airbase to the venue, and digital streamers and SMD screens along major arteries—including Mall Road, Murree Road, Srinagar Highway, Margalla Road, and Constitution Avenue—have been deployed.
More than one thousand small and over twenty-five large digital screens have been utilized for maximum visibility.
On special directions from the Chairman CDA, Dr. Anam Fatima, Chief Officer of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, supervised the execution of all arrangements.
The CDA and MCI remain committed to presenting Islamabad as a peaceful, well-organized, and globally competitive capital.
