Philips’s New 144Hz IPS Gaming Monitor is Only $95

Philips has introduced the Philips 24B2N2200G in China, offering a 23.8-inch display with a 1080p IPS panel at a price of $95.

The 24B2N2200G features a 23.8-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It delivers a pixel density of 93 PPI.

The display offers a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and reaches a brightness level of 350 nits. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate through HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2, along with a 4ms gray-to-gray response time to reduce motion blur.

The monitor uses an 8-bit panel capable of displaying 16.7 million colors. Philips reports 111% sRGB and 101% NTSC color gamut coverage, making it suitable for office tasks and casual gaming. Philips has included several features aimed at reducing eye strain. These include a low blue light mode, DC dimming to eliminate flicker, and an EasyRead mode that provides a paper-like viewing experience for reading.

The monitor comes with dual 2W stereo speakers for basic audio output. It also includes a tilt-adjustable stand with a range of –5 ° to 25° for improved ergonomics. For flexible setup options, the monitor supports VESA wall mounting (100 x 100mm). The 24B2N2200G offers multiple connectivity options, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA inputs.
