Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday issued a strongly worded statement on social media today, vowing that Israel will continue its campaign against what he described as Iran’s “terror regime” and its regional proxies.
He tweeted, “Under my leadership, Israel will continue to fight against Iran’s terrorist regime and its proxies, in contrast to Erdogan who aids them and even slaughters his Kurdish citizens”.
He accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of supporting militant networks and oppressing Kurdish citizens in Turkey.
He further declared that Israel “will not remain silent” in the face of attacks against it, escalating his rhetoric amid ongoing regional tensions involving Iran.
Netanyahu also criticized Spain, accusing its officials of defaming the Israeli military. He referred to Israeli forces as “the world’s most moral army” and said Spain had repeatedly taken positions against Israel.
Earlier, he instructed the removal of Spanish representatives from a coordination center in Kiryat Gat.
