KP to Launch Internship Program for BS Students

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to launch an internship program for BS students, aimed at linking academic learning with practical exposure while offering financial support.

The proposal came under discussion during a briefing to Provincial Minister for Education Meena Khan Afridi on the Ehsaas Internship Program.

According to the plan, the program will run for a period ranging from two to six months, during which participating students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000.

Eligibility has been set at a minimum CGPA of 3.0, with students from universities and degree colleges across the province eligible to apply.

As part of the implementation framework, coordination offices will be set up at universities and colleges to facilitate the programme and ensure smooth execution.
