Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a 3rd consecutive increase on Wednesday in both local and international markets after a continued upward trend in bullion rates in Gulf and European markets.
In the international bullion market, gold gained $35 per ounce to reach $4,811 per ounce. In Pakistan, the price of per tola gold increased by Rs. 3,500, reaching Rs. 503,462 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 3,001, reaching Rs. 431,637.
The price of gold was Rs. 499,962 per tola on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward. The price of per tola silver increased by Rs. 144 to Rs. 8,404.
