Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Gets a Kids Edition With Rugged Build and Parental Controls

Samsung has expanded its child-focused tablet lineup with the new Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition.

The device is based on the Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab A11+ but adds bundled accessories and software features aimed at younger users and parents.

One of the main additions is a foam protective case designed to help prevent damage from drops.

The case includes a built-in kickstand that also works as a carrying handle. It is available in blue, red, purple, and royal blue color options. Samsung is also including a Crayo-Pen stylus with a tether hook, along with stickers for extra customization.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition comes preloaded with the Samsung Kids app. It also includes parental control tools that allow guardians to manage screen time and control access to apps and content.

This version of the tablet is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition is priced at $350 in the US. That is $150 higher than the standard Galaxy Tab A11+ with the same 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
