The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has issued a clarification regarding reports about the launch of Sectors F-12 and G-12 in Islamabad, stating that no final timeline has been set.
In a statement, FGEHA said recent reports circulating on social media and in newspapers claiming that the sectors would be launched next month are inaccurate.
The authority said both sectors fall under its jurisdiction and are currently in the initial technical phases. It added that all legal and administrative requirements will be completed before any formal launch.
FGEHA said formal approval from its Executive Board will be obtained prior to launching the sectors. The authority also said landowners, local residents, and other stakeholders will be consulted before finalizing any decisions, adding that all matters will be settled in coordination with the local community.
It further clarified that the public will be informed through official advertisements only after all necessary requirements have been fulfilled. FGEHA said the rights and interests of local residents will be fully protected throughout the process. The authority reiterated that the projects remain in the technical stage and no final date has been set for their launch.
