Pakistan Army has successfully carried out a training launch of the indigenously developed Fateh-II Missile System.
According to the military’s media wing, the test was conducted by the Army Rocket Force Command as part of troop training and to assess the operational readiness of the system.
The Fateh-II is equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigational aids designed to improve accuracy and survivability.
The launch was also aimed at validating key technical parameters and evaluating the performance of various sub-systems integrated into the missile. Officials said the exercise was intended to ensure the weapon system meets required operational standards.
Senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Rocket Force Command and Pakistan Army witnessed the launch, along with scientists and engineers from the country’s strategic organizations.
The forum praised the successful training fire of the indigenously developed missile and appreciated the efforts of all those involved in the program.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the services chiefs congratulated the teams behind the launch, lauding their technical expertise, dedication and commitment.
