FBISE Announces New Date for Postponed Overseas SSC Exams

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced a new schedule for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams at overseas centres, resuming examinations that were earlier postponed.

The board said SSC Part-I annual examinations 2026 will now commence from May 5 in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

The development follows a partial postponement of exams in March due to regional tensions, which affected the conduct of examinations in selected Gulf countries. FBISE had earlier decided to proceed with exams in other countries while delaying them in Iran, Kuwait, the UAE, and Bahrain after reviewing the impact of the situation on overseas centres.

The board said further details regarding examination arrangements and the date sheet will be communicated separately to institutions and candidates.

The notification advised all stakeholders, including institutions and students, to remain prepared and ensure necessary arrangements ahead of the revised schedule.
