A concerning report based on police records has revealed that 824 women abducted in Lahore over the past five years still remain untraced.
According to official data, these abductions took place between 2021 and 2025. Despite all cases being formally registered, law enforcement authorities have so far been unable to determine the whereabouts of the missing women.
The highest number of unresolved cases has been reported from the Cantt Division, where 282 abducted women are still missing.
Other divisions have also recorded significant figures. Saddar Division reported 152 untraced cases, followed by City Division with 124 missing women. Model Town Division has 110 unresolved cases, while Iqbal Town Division reported 100 women who have yet to be found.
In addition, 56 women abducted from Civil Lines Division remain unaccounted for.
Police officials confirmed that while FIRs were registered in all cases, there has been no breakthrough in tracing the victims.
