HEC Announces Fully Funded BS Scholarships in Pakistan

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has announced fully funded BS scholarships for students from Central Asia and friendly countries to study in Pakistan.

According to HEC, applications are open under the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarship for Central Asia and Friendly Countries. The scholarship is being offered for undergraduate BS studies in different Pakistani universities.

The last date to apply for the scholarship is 10 August 2026.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship will cover major educational and living expenses for selected students.

According to the announcement, the scholarship includes tuition fee, free accommodation, monthly stipend, travel and airfare once during the degree program, and one-time settlement support.

Fields Offered

Students can apply in different fields under the scholarship program. These include Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and IT, Allied Health Sciences, Business and Economics, Agriculture and Social Sciences, Food Security and International Relations, and Media and Languages.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have GCE A Levels or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks.

For Engineering programs, applicants must have at least 65% marks.

Selected candidates will also be required to provide an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC Pakistan after they are awarded the Allama Iqbal Scholarship.
