China Agrees to Help Pakistan Make Money in These 3 Key Sectors

Pakistan and China have signed multiple agreements and memoranda of understanding to expand cooperation in construction machinery, livestock health, and medical technology.

During the event, one joint venture agreement and two memoranda of understanding were signed between Pakistani and Chinese organizations, aimed at strengthening long-term institutional and sectoral cooperation.

The agreement also includes plans to explore investment opportunities for setting up manufacturing facilities in Pakistan and promoting localized production of construction machinery.

In the health sector, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Dr Ziauddin Hospital and Shenzhen Weibang Technology to promote the use of intelligent medical robots and develop integrated healthcare solutions.

One memorandum was signed between Al Hassan Trade Establishment, Sany International Development, and Hainan Jiaolong International Technology, focusing on high-end equipment, manufacturing, and construction machinery. The collaboration is linked to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor-related work, including machinery supply, talent development, and after-sales services.

A joint venture agreement was signed between the Livestock and Fisheries Department of Sindh and Luoyang Modern Biology Group for the supply and distribution of animal vaccines, including those for foot and mouth disease. The partnership will also focus on technology transfer and the development of animal tracking systems.

Officials said these agreements are expected to strengthen Pakistan’s industrial capacity, improve livestock health systems, and support the development of advanced medical technologies, reinforcing long-standing bilateral cooperation.
