Islamabad Launches Online Registration System for Factories and Shops

The Office of the Chief Commissioner, ICT Administration, Islamabad, in collaboration with the National Information Technology Board (NITB), has introduced an Online Registration System for Factories and Shops/Establishments.

This initiative aims to digitize the registration process, reducing bureaucratic delays and simplifying the way businesses interact with the labor administration system.

The newly launched system will enable businesses to register their factories and shops more efficiently, eliminating the need for manual paperwork and long processing times.

This move will not only speed up registration but also ensure that businesses are in compliance with regulatory requirements, thereby promoting better governance and organization.

Accompanying the launch is the demonstration of the Labor Inspection Management System (LIMS), a tool designed to automate labor inspections. LIMS will provide authorities with a more streamlined process for monitoring workplaces, ensuring that businesses adhere to labor laws and maintain safe working conditions.

Through this system, inspections will be scheduled and tracked digitally, ensuring transparency and efficiency in enforcement.

The Online Registration System and LIMS will both serve to improve transparency and accountability within the labor sector.

By providing real-time data and updates, the public and relevant authorities will have immediate access to information regarding registered businesses and ongoing labor inspections, creating an environment of trust and reliability in regulatory practices.
