Fast Cables Limited (PSX: FCL) has completed the consolidation of two manufacturing units in Lahore to improve operational efficiency and save Rs. 100 million.
According to the company’s disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Unit 1 located at 7 Canal Bank, Main Jallo Road, Harbans Pura has been consolidated with Unit 2 at Ijtama Chowk, Sundar Industrial Road, Raiwind, Lahore.
The company said the strategic move follows recent capacity expansion and modernization initiatives aimed at streamlining operations and improving resource utilization.
Fast Cables expects the consolidation to generate annual cost savings of around Rs. 100 million, while also improving quality assurance, speeding up production cycles, and enhancing overall efficiency across the value chain.
The company added that the integration of both units into a coordinated manufacturing operation will strengthen operational alignment and better position the business to meet rising customer demand and support higher production volumes.
Fast Cables is one of Pakistan’s major cable and electrical wire manufacturers, operating in the local power, construction, and infrastructure sectors. The company says its journey began nearly four decades ago, while it was incorporated as Fast Cables Limited in 2008 and later listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
