FDE Launches Digital Skills Training for Islamabad Teachers

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has launched a new training program for school teachers in Islamabad focusing on graphic design, video editing and digital tools.

According to a notification issued by the FDE, teachers from educational institutions across the federal capital will receive training in Canva and other IT-related programs.

The training sessions will also be conducted during weekly holidays as part of the initiative. Under the schedule issued by the FDE, the first workshops will take place on May 8 and May 9, falling on Friday and Saturday.

Officials said the training program will continue from May 8 to May 15 in different sectors of Islamabad, with daily sessions scheduled from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The notification stated that 430 teachers from model colleges and schools in Urban, Sihala, Tarnol, Bhara Kahu and Nilore sectors will participate in the workshops.
