Overseas Pakistanis Send Home $13 Billion in Remittances After 22% Surge in April

Investment in Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) has recorded a significant increase, with total inflows crossing $12.7 billion, according to the latest data seen by ProPakistani.

Monthly investment in Roshan Digital Accounts was up 22 percent month-on-month after exceeding $320 million in April 2026, while the total number of accounts has crossed 917,000.

According to available figures, Roshan Digital Accounts received around $262 million in March 2026. Before that, monthly inflows generally remained between $150 million and $200 million.

The scheme has now attracted cumulative investment of approximately $12.7 billion since its launch. The initiative allows overseas Pakistanis and foreign nationals to invest in Pakistan through digital banking channels.

Non-resident Pakistanis owning companies abroad are also eligible to invest under the scheme.

Funds invested through Roshan Digital Accounts, along with profits earned, can be repatriated at any time under existing rules.
