Iran Allows 2nd Qatari Ship Full of LNG to Exit Hormuz Towards Pakistan

Qatar has sent a second large shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) through the Iran-controlled Strait of Hormuz towards Pakistan.

The vessel recently safely exited Hormuz and looks well on its way towards Pakistan.

This is the second shipment of LNG headed for Pakistan after the first vessel crossed Hormuz towards Port Qasim last week.

Ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg shows that the LNG carrier Mihzem has sailed out of the Persian Gulf and is now operating in the Gulf of Oman.

The Singapore-flagged vessel is currently indicating Pakistan as its destination.

The vessel had earlier stopped transmitting positioning signals amid ongoing tensions linked to the Iran war and disruptions affecting traffic through Hormuz.

Several tankers earlier loading cargo from facilities operated by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company at Das Island also temporarily switched off tracking systems while transporting shipments through the sensitive waterway.
