Police in Karachi have reportedly arrested a woman accused of running a major cocaine supply network allegedly linked to students and influential figures, with authorities also claiming the operation had connections in Islamabad and Lahore.
According to reports, the suspect, identified as Anmol alias Pinki, was taken into custody during a joint operation carried out by police and sensitive agencies. She was said to be wanted in multiple cases and had allegedly been evading arrest for some time.
Officials claim the accused was involved in producing and supplying high-priced cocaine through a mobile drug laboratory. During the operation, authorities reportedly recovered narcotics worth millions of rupees along with weapons.
Investigators believe the suspected network was not limited to Karachi and had spread to other major cities, including Islamabad and Lahore. Reports also allege that the drug supply chain catered to students as well as prominent individuals.
The arrest is being seen as a significant development in the wider crackdown on narcotics operations in urban centers, especially those involving organized supply networks and high-value drugs.
However, authorities have yet to publicly release full details about the scale of the alleged network, the number of people connected to it, or the exact nature of the recovered material.
